Let me repeat, in fact, you are pretty good at putting 2 and 2 together. You learned that skill in what has been exposed to you. I think it's called discernment.

Some of us are better at it than others. If we exercise our ability to be discerning, I think we get better at it.

But, that still doesn't answer how my grandmother "knew" what she knew, or how a person on the verge of death can see his own body while its being worked on. And, it implies closing off the possibility of discovering some other explanation.

The thing is, our minds simply detest not knowing the answer--and will come up with anything to fill the void. But sometimes just sitting back with *not* knowing leads to real discovery.
