I have mentioned elsewhere that the impact of the JFK assassination had such a terrible impact on the American psyche. I remembered the scene in the Clint Eastwood movie when he and the chimp exhibit the "Right Turn Clyde" idea. America experienced a terrible turn. I remember November in 1963 much more clearly than I remember the 9/11 incident which I see more as an emphasis on what took place November 22, 1963. That was the darkest day in my memories of America's history as it impacts individual Americans--you and the rest of us as well even though many had not as yet been born.

I am not a "what if" guy.. as you are well aware, to me, all things are black or white.. there is no gray... the "what if" comments were actually, Jeff's. I only responded to that (satirical truth = black and white; that is, if you understand what I have said...)

Just figure one thing out, Ollie. What powerful group of people in the United States could have pulled off such a broad daylight murder and have gotten away with it?

Do you really believe some nut did the work?

Think about JFK's son. Do you think he wasn't on to the plot that got his father killed? Do you think he would have kept his mouth shut once he attained to power? He was on his way to great power, as you must know. Do you think his death was an accident?

Yes, I believe some nut was behind JFK's assassination: LBJ. Oliver Stone's movie JFK seemed plausible to me, especially the director's cut making fun of Johnny Carson.
