Do you mean as in the meaning of the word, mysticism?

Those kinds of mysteries?

» HeadZenCards - The Real Issue

In response to The Real Issue posted by pink101:

OK. My role here is to say that we should fight against whatever has told, is telling or will tell any human being to utterly destroy infants and sucklings.

The fight should be carried out in writing against creatures from literature. So here I am, defeating the LORD GOD as written with little movements from pudgy fingers. None dare speak against my role, lest they taste my pudgy finger wrath.

Calling for the murder of infants and sucklings is and always has been a character flaw. No sane human being would ever listen to advice from such a voice.

Try to imagine a mysterious world where that evil voice is relevant no more. Welcome to reality.

In response to Give me a break posted by pink101:

Well, for one, I have demanded from those here who are atheists or who (like you) lean that way to explain the ORIGINS of the original stages of the universe. And what it ultimately boils down to is....It's a mystery, and we don't know yet. Why is it okay for agnostics and atheists to get away with that, but Christians have to have ALL the answers - or else they can lambasted by the likes of Migisi for "canned" responses? Big time double standard!

"...Christians have to have ALL the answers..."
.
If that is so, it is because they claim to know some absolute truths about existence and, so strongly, that they will go to almost any length to defeat any ideas that seem to be in opposition. We have seen innumerable examples of that here at Suite101.com.

Christians claim they know, that's why Brian.

Or MOST Christains claim they know.

Good to see some improvement from you in not making that claim!

Is the LORD GOD as written of in the Bible part of the mystery or just more misery?

» HeadZenCards - Mysteries

http://www.evilbible.com/Impossible.htm

Chad Docterman says here "The fool is the one who believes impossible things and calls them divine mysteries..... A God who knows the future is powerless to change it. An omniscient God who is all-powerful and freewilled is impossible."

Impossible in reality, complete evil in print, we need not serve it anymore.

Speaking for myself as a Bible-believing Christian...

I know that there IS Truth, and I know that God IS the Truth. I am still in discovery mode, however, so I don't presume to have a perfect handle on all the Truth.

"I am still in discovery mode,..."
.
That's great, Brian.
.
To discover actually means to take the cover off from something so that what is there can be seen.
.
And, you are absolutely correct on that one. You are uncovering the truth. Little by little by little. A day may come when you will say, "I must admit that I have been wrong." If you live long enough and keep your sanity.
.
I lived long enough to admit that and I think I have kept my sanity. Although ...
.
:~)
.
Some say ....
.
Oh, well, such is life.
.
I attended the graduation exercises of my second grand daughter last night. Invigorating.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Bumping

I'm bumping this discussion up for Migisi. She has referenced it in a couple of different threads, including the one on God and Evil. I don't have much else to say on this subject than what I've already said. But if someone else wants to chime in on this issue, feel free.
