» pink101 - An Insider Answer

In response to Jesus is God - P.S. posted by Migisi:
.
If you can believe it, here is an insider answer.
.
Jesus came to Earth for the purpose of setting up a physical kingdom in which the Jews would be given the Master Race position over all humanity.
.
But, the Jews rejected him much to the bafflement of the Triune God.
.
Therein is the answer to your question and much more. Ask most biblicists. There was a change in plans. Gentiles were allowed to have a place in eternity and everything else changed as well.
.
Some biblical doctrine might use the idea of a parenthetical dispensation.
.
Check it out.

» BJ78 - What if?

In response to What if? posted by HeadZenCards:

If I lived in those days and they were my children and infants then I would have died too, probably in a most horrible way. The wages of sin is death.

The point I was trying to make in a few words is that the promised Seed has come and we are indeed living in the last days. The time of God teaching of his justice through the acts of some people, over which some now agonize, has passed. God has indeed poured out His wrath upon His Son. The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Correct, Pinky. You, as a human being, realize the greater horror of a Being who would supposedly KNOW IN ADVANCE of all the horror involved in baby killing.

You have rejected the idea of the LORD GOD-As-Written and you are much the better man for that.

The Pink sez, "That and $3.50 will get me a cup of coffee at almost any Starbuck's Cafe."

And, I still can't make a smiley face. Wendell will have to explain it to me. I have to set something up on my own computer, I know that much.

At least you'll be able to drink your coffee in peace - without guilt, shame, and fear. That's real freedom, Pink. And it's priceless.

I( just looked in my pocket. I only have $2.00 on me. I'll have to go to the credit union first before I go to Starbucks. Oh! If I go to one in Boca Raton, my grandson is the day manager. I can get free coffee there.

What "sin" did an infant playing its games ever commit?

What "sin" did a baby suckling its mother's tit ever commit?
.
What "sin" did Jesus commit in the Bible?

If you believe that you are living in the last days, please get some help before you find it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Clarification

In response to Jesus is God - P.S. posted by Migisi:

I believe the Old Testament and New Testament. I admit to being uncomfortable with some of the things God did in the OT, but I believe He did them.

What I said was that were my anxieties, worries, discomfort to lead me toward unbelief - it would NOT be toward disbelief in God, but rather disbelief in the canonization process.

Yes, I believe in the OT God and the NT God - I believe they are the same. And I believe Jesus is God. However, I also believe in the Trinity - God in three persons.
