With the Biblical references, are you implying that Brian was being judgmental? I thought he was giving his opinion - which I suppose requires judgment of behavior and events.

As a Christian, I've never really figured out how to be nonjudgmental and still be discerning. I mean, we get to have our own opinions about stuff, right? But we shouldn't insult others in the process. That has nothing to do with Christianity; it's just adhering to a civil level of decency and focused communication (as opposed to seguing into irrelevant bunny trails or personal insults).
