The problem with these discussions is that we have a VERY limited POV of all the participants. I don't know what you, Migisi, PaperTurtle, Oliver, Wendell, Brother Jones, redback, etc. (sorry to leave anyone out) even LOOK like. I don't know your families. I don't know all your interests and hobbies - beyond what I've read about here. And that - what I've read - is really a limited perspective.

I think we need to be VERY careful about making assumptions and judgments of other people based on simply what we read in text. Brother Jones may seem like a "bigoted hypocrite" to you in what he writes and the tone he conveys in his writing - and that's your opinion of him based on your POV. But if you had the opportunity to sit down with him a few times in person and talk things out - I imagine your opinion would be altered. It's bound to be, in fact.

I say this to myself as well...but we all need to be HUMBLE and careful in the judgments we form of others here at the Suite.
