Jesus doesn't call us to be a follower of his in the way that we follow our sports team. He calls us to single-minded, sold-out devotion. How many Christians today have that kind of devotion to Christ?

I'm always amazed by statements like these. What do you mean that a person should express if they are doing exactly what Jesus calls them to be? Your article makes it sound like it is as simple a matter to understand as it is to be a Yankees' fan.
