- Winners and Losers
I don't understand your question or confusion, Pink. Sports fans cheer for their team in an emotional sense, but other than perhaps buying souvenirs and/or tickets to the game(s)...they don't really personally invest themselves in the success of the team. Christians are called to a higher commitment to Jesus than just cheering for him and/or going to church on Sunday. A true follower of Jesus will be just that - a real follower.

Jesus told Mark that them that believe could perform miracles. Why doesn't Team Jesus stop all hatred caused by religious difference of opinions amongst themselves for starters?

- Follower of Jesus
A true follower of Jesus Christ will be one who:
1. Accepts Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior (thus making Jesus the most important person in his/her life)
2. Follows Jesus' commandments as recorded in Scripture
3. Will love God with all their heart, soul, and mind -- and their neighbor(s) as himself or herself
4. Seeks to encourage (not force) others to likewise become followers of Jesus
5. Will manifest Christ-like qualities, including what Paul identifies as the "fruit of the Spirit" - love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance
I understand that there are some who disagree with me. But you asked me, so I've answered.
