Socialism is an economic system more favorable to ordinary people whereas Capitalism is an economic system more favorable to the monied classes. As such, Socialism represents ordinary people and Capitalism represents the super rich. On this basis, I have to favor Socialism. Why shouldn't ordinary people enjoy the better things in life as well as the wealthy? I have to deal with questions like this.

The idea is that property itself has rights that can come into conflict with human rights.

By the way, I've been learning about Arthur Garfield Hays. Interesting fella, wouldn't you say? He was the master mind behind Clarence Darrow in the Scopes Monkey Trial.

Don't know much about him. Fill me in. I do know about the Scopes Trial of course. Actually have read a lot about it. Summer of the Gods (forget the author off the top of my head) is a really good book - to name one.
