I served in the Marine Corps under rules known as the Rocks and Shoals. Now, there is a law known as the Uniform Military Code of Justice or something like that--I'm unsure of the title. And, I can't speak to it; although, I do know that at my induction, I swore an oath to the Constitution of the United States of America. I presume all enlistees do the same today.

It is a horrible miscarriage of leadership that our president establishes an attitude among the people to remain silent on such issues to which you allude--loyalty to the leader is more important than loyalty to the Constitution. America is sinking fast.

I'm sure you've heard the reports on the probabilities of PTSD for service personnel coming home from Iraq. THAT is an issue we WILL face. It ain't going to be pretty.
