Asking modern man to forget the LORD GOD and love Jesus and appreciate the good words in the Bible is like asking modern man to forget the holocaust and love the people of Hitler's Germany and appreciate the good words in Mein Kampf.

Didn't Hitler get people working again? Didn't the trains (to Aushwitz anyway) run on time?

You see how silly that is and how your bullsh*t detector would be screaming at this point, no matter how much you love the German people.

Why not rewrite a better book without all the fantastic lies? Germany, perhaps the greatest country to live in today, has learned how to do it.

Jesus does not have the copyright on any of the sweet sentiments you can cherry pick from the Bible.

But the name of Jesus is TAINTED by the name of the LORD GOD, like Germany was tainted by the name of Hitler.

Humankind is beginning to see that kind of ego for what it was. They are letting it go with love or disgust, but they are letting it go.

They know that the Biblical story does not describe them or their lives.

People are becoming aware that what they leave behind is for the best. And in today's Germany, we see what can happen when people let go of the past, forgive themselves, and work together to create heaven on Earth.
