We all have the experience of resurrection. It's called waking up in the morning.

Many have flown into the clouds, thanks to Jet Blue and United.

Jesus is different, though.

He never lived. Tales of his life are like tales of hundreds of different baseball players claiming that all the hits and errors from the many belong to one.

Christians who think that Jesus' resurrection was unique have not read their Bibles.

If they hold that Jesus' resurrection had any value, they had better be ready to go Onward as Christian soldiers.

The value of Jesus' resurrection depends on your willingness to do the LORD GOD's will (Matt. 7:21-23). See 1 Sam. 15 for what that will once demanded of its followers.

Get ready to hack and saw the heads off of infants and sucklings, ready to bathe in the blood of innocent children. Be ready to do it for your LORD GOD or Jesus will not recognize you at a very inopportune time.

No sane human being is ready to follow the LORD GOD's will. Therefore, no sane human being will get any benefit out of Jesus' resurrection.

What about "Intelligent Falling"? I heard of it awhile back here http://www.theonion.com/content/node/395... and hope to see it taught in all our public schools soon.

I've NEVER heard ~anything~ more ridiculous than this Jesus-is-Gravity theory. Burdett studied physics at Oral Roberts University - where they don't teach real science. What serious educator would take this seriously? Only in Kansas!

The value of the resurrection, like the reality of Jesus, is not to be found without accepting a God who willed that infants and sucklings be murdered.

But once you accept that kind of God, you lose your humanity. What's a True Believer to do?

I'd rather live one human life than give it up for an empty promise.
