I keep pondering whose side I'm supposed to be joining as doctrinal issues etc confuse me as to what are matters that matter.
On all the alleged "evidence" I have grown accustomed to, the dual reference to where thought comes from, still has me stumped from the first time I raised it. The Bible is either being poetic about the heart or not (and I'm not aiming to be pedantic on behalf of heart transplant patients).
Heart or big toe, my questioning is as fair dinkum as I can make it even if tissue sampling fails to identify its deeper origins for me. I don't have this thing called 'faith' about Jesus as clearly exampled by Boanerges, Brother-jones, Brian etc so I'd be far less than fair dinkum if I started from that base.
Migisi...you seemta mixa cuppla my quotes. IF Jesus IS what the Bible says He is, my way of thinking means there is no quantum leap to make nor need for 'faith' given that fact. I can't imagine how differently I'd post or whether I'd need to visit here at all.
..."his apostles and disciples' writings deserve further study as well..."
I meant Jesus AND the Bible are both worthy of further study.
I'm coming up to 7 years membership of suite101. I was thinking of procrastinating but I decided not to. I've no apology to make in my journey.
