Oliver, surely you don't mean this: "History shows there is no evidence for Jesus Christ as written in the Bible." Are you actually saying that Jesus Christ is made up? And that the Bible contains no historical truth? I'll give you a chance to clarify yourself, before I respond.

Pink, are you REALLY saying that there is NO evidence for the claims of Christianity?

Let ME be clear...

1. I canNOT prove all of the claims of Christianity and/or the Bible by use of historic or scientific evidence. I never said I could. But I most certainly CAN prove SOME of those claims!

2. My relationship with God is NOT based merely on factual evidence. It is based on putting my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. And it IS a relationship, not a textbook exercise.

Still...Pink and Oliver, if your positions are really, truly as I understand them (see above)...well...let's just say that I can't see anyone today really believing that, so I'll give you a chance to clarify before I respond.
