If truth be told, the coffee shop I was in the other day, that fella may be the regular and me the stranger. I guess strangeness is in the eye of the beholder. "...Can you imagine stopping him on one of his walks and inquiring..." Nope. I can imagine Paul seeing Jeff and scurrying faster. Some people are known by the company they keep, ya know! -- posted by redback » Brother_Jones - For Whom The Bell Tolls In response to For Whom The Bell Tolls posted by redback:..." Nope. I can imagine Paul seeing Jeff and scurrying faster. So, would it be the same with Jesus? There is a corner or a bell tolling which every person turns or listens to. They begin to see darkness and death when trying to engage with the likes of Paul or Christ. They have in their own minds left behind and turned against the saving grace of a loving God and all thought of personal redemption through the life of Jesus Christ. So they are on a different road and that road does not intersect with the message that Paul brought except the message of rebellion. i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » Twice__Pardoned - For Whom The Bell Tolls In response to For Whom The Bell Tolls posted by redback:

You might be one of those people--without conscience--that spin imaginary stories they use to convince little children about which track to take for their life's journey. . Take a few moments. Consider the statements Ollie makes about religion being such a fraud. Think about the young children who have it drilled into their gullible little minds--still accepting Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy--that this or that religion provides the truth about reality. Put those two things together--fraud and little children. Now, add in the idea of people who spin stories without a conscience--see how they are guilty of stealing the very identity of the little children before the child has an opportunity to think for itself. . That helps give understanding to what it means for such a story teller to be a dirty rotten b*st*rd. Do you remember what Jesus had to say about such people? . We must teach our children to think for their own self. The watchwords are to question authority. . :) . The bell tolls for the little children. . Shame, shame, shame. . -- posted by pink101 » Brother_Jones - For Whom The Bell Tolls In response to For Whom The Bell Tolls posted by pink101:

A bit of this null is like a black-hole at the end of a yo-yo. Not even light can escape where it flits. Being a lover is giving and receiving whatever is really there. A lover does his or her best to use everything, even protesting web sites. Rotting in the Christian Heaven, believing that billions of "souls" are roasting in agony, believing that the object of your affection is the only awesome entity who could end that torment yet does not, is an example of being a hater in heaven. -- posted by HeadZenCards » Brother_Jones - Excellent Question In response to Excellent Question posted by HeadZenCards:
The goal was to get you to say something about the afterlife that didn't involve Christians. Will you try again? i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » HeadZenCards - Excellent Question In response to Excellent Question posted by Brother_Jones:
After life, everything is unknown for everyone. All pre-conceived notions only effect this life. Thinking oneself to become an eternal hater in heaven coarsens this life by validating one's prejudices. Committing oneself to be open, to be a lover, even in difficult circumstances, makes this life a paradise. -- posted by HeadZenCards » pink101 - The Mormons . Did anyone see the special on television last night--The Mormons? . That was a great example of how Christians think in relationship to the rest of the world. . Talk about haters!! .
