In response to For Whom The Bell Tolls posted by Brother_Jones:
Coffee shops are places specifically designed to wash up after me...and I'm already washed up.
I sit there with my little bag of JP goodies and watch the scurry of life as I dawdle over a coffee. Time was when I grabbed my coffee on the run and drank it at the desk. Now's time to smell the beans...and freesias..in season.
If truth be told, the coffee shop I was in the other day, that fella may be the regular and me the stranger. I guess strangeness is in the eye of the beholder.
"...Can you imagine stopping him on one of his walks and inquiring..." Nope. I can imagine Paul seeing Jeff and scurrying faster. Some people are known by the company they keep, ya know!

So, would it be the same with Jesus?
There is a corner or a bell tolling which every person turns or listens to. They begin to see darkness and death when trying to engage with the likes of Paul or Christ. They have in their own minds left behind and turned against the saving grace of a loving God and all thought of personal redemption through the life of Jesus Christ. So they are on a different road and that road does not intersect with the message that Paul brought except the message of rebellion.

Ah ha... We have a nice little following going on. Over a thousand loyal fans but we're currently in limbo because we are needing to make a member change. Never easy.

In response to Excellent Question posted by Brother_Jones:
Love is a zero score in tennis.
A bit of this null is like a black-hole at the end of a yo-yo. Not even light can escape where it flits.
Being a lover is giving and receiving whatever is really there. A lover does his or her best to use everything, even protesting web sites.
Rotting in the Christian Heaven, believing that billions of "souls" are roasting in agony, believing that the object of your affection is the only awesome entity who could end that torment yet does not, is an example of being a hater in heaven.

Rotting in the Christian Heaven
The goal was to get you to say something about the afterlife that didn't involve Christians. Will you try again?

In response to Excellent Question posted by Brother_Jones:
That wouldn't help Christians avoid being haters, which is my focus here.
After life, everything is unknown for everyone. All pre-conceived notions only effect this life.
Thinking oneself to become an eternal hater in heaven coarsens this life by validating one's prejudices.
Committing oneself to be open, to be a lover, even in difficult circumstances, makes this life a paradise.
