» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Heart and Mind

I think there IS a very important distinction between HEART and MIND. They often get collapsed or blurred.

I do think it's appropriate to correct or at least debate each other on DOCTRINE (mind), but not so on HEART. Unless it's an extremely obvious thing.

To respond directly to you, PaperTurtle, I would never presume to comment negatively on your HEART. And, I should point out, that the Bible makes clear that God looks FIRST AND FOREMOST at the heart. And Jesus made that clear time and again when talking with the Pharisees. I in fact respect you tremendously when it comes to your heart.

But, yes, I do think you're misguided in your mind. happy

Seriously, I disagree with you on many of the issues of doctrine, but that doesn't mean (speaking for myself of course) that I'm going to view your heart or character negatively.

Does that make sense?
