ProtestantismThe Supreme Court

To get this back on track....the point of the judicial branch is to play referee in our society. But referees are bound by the RULES - not by their opinions. Granted, referees are human and make mistakes. Some are biased. Some are smarter than others. Some are not altogether honest. That's the way it is in sports. It's the way it is in our court system. But, the STANDARD is that referees enforce the rules. Well..that's what it's supposed to be with our courts. They are there to interpet and apply the rules. Who decides on those rules? The People - THROUGH their elected lawmakers.
