» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - What about...?

In response to Questions re: the Body posted by paper_turtle:

What about the baby? And, frankly, I am a little unsettled at the insinuation that because I'm a man, I'm unqualified to ask such questions or speak to this issue.

But, I repeat...what about the baby? To me, it's not an "ideological belief" that determines whether a baby in the mother's womb is a human life or not. It's a medical issue. And in this day and age of sonograms and prenatal technology, how can ANYONE question the fact that a baby in the womb is just that...a human baby?

p.s. PaperTurtle, I agree that abortion is more than just about control of the "body." My questions were designed to address ONE aspect of the abortion issue - namely Pink's question about whether we should be allowed to control our bodies independent of others' ideological beliefs. I was addressing THAT in my questions.
