I guess there are certain days that some simple straight talk is good for the soul. I don't know what God would want to do with those who deny the divinity of Christ. Or with those who teach their children that the story of Jesus is just a fairy tale. I don't want to be numbered among their group and be known as that kind of liberal or progressive. It has to with whether a person has decided to follow Jesus as Lord.

It looks like your bottom line is that you would like to make the point that I have some quirky ideas and odd behavior associated with a bias toward liberals. I think all of us including myself are in agreement with you.

What do you mean by worship? What does Jesus = God imply in terms of how a liberal OR non-liberal lives his/her life?

My experience teaches me that folks like you tend to believe that Jesus was not God, and therefore spend most of your life calling attention to the beautiful things in nature rather than the beautiful sacrifice made on the Cross.

If you took a poll, you must have left out quite a few people, Bro Jo. If you took a wider sampling the answer might surprise you. I would invite you to spend a few days at my church and ask around.

As I have pointed out many times before, you do not know what goes on in the mindsds and hearts of *any* other person. You don't know what *any* participant here does in the way of prayer, worship, study, or acts of love.

So you think prayer, worship, study, and acts of love are pretty high on the agenda of the Liberals here? Maybe so. But I haven't heard from that side concerning those things lately. Just a simple question about 'Who do Liberals pray to?' is considered bad form. Liberals are pretty dogone touchy. Have you noticed?

You keep criticizing what individual people believe, but sometimes I just can't see what led you to your conclusions.

You are not making much of an effort to see, imo. It doesn't seem to bother you in the slightest when a friend decides that everything they once believed about Jesus is simply fairy tale material. But I am not like you. We think and believe very differently.
