I have a brother-in-law who has been an ordained Baptist minister longer than you have been alive. When he starts out telling me the way it is, I have to remind him that it is what he believes--that I have a different perspective. He doesn't believe it is his view, he thinks it is reality period. I respect his opinion; but, he doesn't respect mine. I respect yours; but, you don't respect mine. If we were to get a little mutual respect around here, you might learn something. Maybe ever the lowly Migisi might have something of spiritual value to offer. Who knows? Do you?

I don't have a lot of respect for Brother Jones as he presents such a strong and dogmatic opinion that directly insults so many others who participate here.

He, like I, are presenting the truth rregaurdless of it's temporary pain because we believe it will have a much greater reward when it's all said and done.

I think at issue was my first post of the day where you took offence at what was said to another poster. And then you took it out of context. And then you went looking for a fight. In the above post, you took a statement made by Brian out of its context to Stephen and complain about what a Christian shares with another Christian.

And you come complaining that I have strong views which are shared at this Christian site about the Christian faith and my responses concerning other posters when they ridicule that faith from time to time. But you don't take the time or trouble to share what it might be that I have particularly said. You want respect and you want folk to hold you up as some sort of example of fairness and integrity based on the idea that you are trying so hard to respect everyone here.

It is again a very fair statement that folks who daily agitate against Christianity can basically have the three point shots all day long even on the Christian sites, but Christian posters should always hold their tongues in place and be called unintelligent seekers of truth simply and because of their dogmatic stance on Jesus.

i am just an oldtimer for the Lord.

I think it would be good if somehow you were punished in some way for your remarks. Maybe banished for a day from the site. I think when Jeff gets in here later on, he will see clearly that you went over the line of being rude and your remarks untimely. I leave it to Jeff to decide who was the most rude. He is a fair man. He should be made to decide about this issue of your banishment for a day. I may have said some things that might have seem unseemly, but your remarks were triple unseemly.
