In response to odds? posted by _Boanerges_:last Friday, I decided to get my eyes examined again.. So, I called Americas Best and set the appointment. When I went in, the Dr asked when was the last time I was there. I said, not sure.. maybe 5 yrs or so.. He got my paperwork, and low and behold, I showed up 5yrs ago to the DAY...
Now.. what are the odds of that?.. Hmmm..?

I wonder when the lawyers are going to come out of the woodwork and go after the university there for not doing a better job.

I'm not big on filing lawsuits, but if one of my children had died at VTech, you can bet I'd be suing. It wouldn't bring my child back, but it would force the administration to be accountable.

In response to Sick kids... posted by Migisi:
During the time I was attending UVM (1966-1968) one of my closest friends had to leave school because of mental problems.
.
While I was finishing my degree (1973-1975) I witnessed one student go into total meltdown, and heard about two other students who left school because of mental problems.
.
One woman dropped (in her mid-thirties) out for the same reason while I was attending Woodbury.
.
BUT I saw many other students who were profoundly depressed and never sought help. I also saw students who should have been suspended because of serious problems with anger management.
.
Sorry-rambling a bit here. My point is, while the problem isn't new, I do believe it is growing in intensity and frequency. Yet another thing we need to closely examine, and take VERY seriously.

- It's truly a shame
But Oliver (HeadZenCards) makes an outlandish claim that Cho is a Christian and associates Cho with the "True Believers in Christ" - and then uses that to condemn religion in general and Christianity in particular. And NO ONE HERE has any problem with that, except for me.
It's truly sad. And, quite frankly, I just don't know what to say.
