I want to know what in blazes is going on that any--otherwise--normal appearing human being would commit such an atrocious act of violence. . I cannot disconnect my self from the human condition. I am interested in the truth no matter how it hurts. Others can run and hide--not me. . I don't like getting my information through the filter of government officialdom. I don't like the censorship of what's going on in Iraq--I think we need to see the truth as a people. This Blacksburg Event is no minor thing that has little impact on our society. I believe we need a complete investigation into the event and I would like to see the evidence. You said "When I pray for God to comfort the victims families, I am doing for them, not me." Is your idea of God so garbled that he, as the supreme everything, NEEDS you to demand that he comfort grieving people before he lifts a finger? I didn't think so. So, therefore, you pray to make yourself feel good, unless you think there is a magic telephone that connects your words and the victims families' ears. Maybe your idea of God needs to be reminded that he screwed up in not stopping one of his own flock from murdering 32 people. Yes, Cho did relate his experience to what he was taught about both the OT LORD GOD and Jesus in his mailings to NBC news between shootings. Cho seems to have been the proto-typical, "nut-job" christian. But then Jesus taught christians not to judge lest you be judged, so, between you and me, I am the only one who'd better call a Cho a nut. As a christian, Cho probably asked for forgiveness before blowing his head off and thought he would spend eternity with Jesus. And no christian can make a judgment on this, lest they be judged! This is why I am sticking to protesting christianity here. Oliver, shame on you again. It's not enough for you to associate Cho with Christianity in one thread. You have to do it in this one too. I can't stand censorship, but I'm tempted to delete your incoherent, outrageous rant. For you to make the statement that Cho was a Christian and thus advance your twisted point that religion and/or Christianity is somehow responsible for this terrible tragedy is beyond the pale of reasoned discourse. And, Pink, there's no excuse for you agreeing with him. Shame on you too!
