I hope you all will join me in prayer for the victims and their families of this horrendous tragedy at Virginia Tech. This senseless violence is just heart-breaking. I can only imagine what I'd feel as a parent of a Virginia Tech student right now.

How tragic this event is for our society and especially for the families and the faculty and student body at VA Tech. How senseless.

I used to teach high school in Northern Virginia - and several of my students graduated on to Virginia Tech (which is of course in southern VA). Fortunately, I'm told that all those there at VA Tech who went to the high school I taught at are okay. They are accounted for. Still, my heart breaks for the others. What a tragedy!

Very tragic. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the victims.

I only found out about an hour ago and already I've seen people using this to prove God doesn't exist or is evil, while others are using this to put the fear of hell into people. When arseholes like this use these events to make a religious point it just adds insult to ingury to the tragedy.
