It is sort of an Ecclesiastes moment.
Do you know what I mean?
.
I do indeed, Pink. I think our study of Ecclesiastes and this passing event have enlarged your understanding of ol' Solomon's struggle, and his wisdom. Once we 'get it', we never lose it.
.
My sympathies to you and yours.

Better, we are set free to live our life in the here and the now. I think that is what Jesus taught.

Yes. Ultimately, NOW is all we have. Anything else exists only in our minds. When we stay focused on what is right here, right now, we can see how exquisite it all is, how precious. What else can one say to that except "Thank You."

You and Brian both said you posted something and then it disappeared?
.
I had just logged on to this discussion page. I read the latest messages in one thread and returned to the discussion list--to discover that all but one of the most recent discussions had disappeared from the listing. I don't recall which discussion thread was left, but I believe it was one which was tied to something Brian had written (a blog entry or article). When I looked at the list more closely I noticed that all discussions not tied to something of Brian's had disappeared--at that point an entire page of listings).
.
I could still access the other discussions through the lists to the left, and I was able to post a message ("What just hppened?") about what was going on with the discussion list page.
.
Considering how the Suite has recently eliminated general discussions without any warning (and without consulting its loyal participants), I couldn't help thinking maybe the Suite had decided to stop allowing any discussions not related to items posted by the topic editor (e.g., Brian).
.
And that thought led me to reflect on how much I value these discussions--and the people who participate in them.
.
peace and love,
Paper Turtle
