You get my point, yes? . The truth is that the resurrection is a matter of FAITH, not fact. And I'm okay with FAITH. But proving the bible using the bible won't do. Same with Julius Caesar's account of the Gallic wars. Obviously biased, but it's the best source we have. And historians generally agree that, at least insofar as the basics go, Caesar's account is credible. I'm saying the Bible deserves the same level of respect and attention. MOREOVER...if we're going to reject the Bible as the canonized Word of God, then we have to treat the biblical books as INDIVIDUAL manuscripts. Thus, rather than the BIBLE saying Jesus rose from the dead, you have FOUR manuscripts saying so - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Five if you add the second century Gospel of Thomas. And then you've got Paul's letters, particularly I Corinthians (which scholars treat with a LOT of credility - even liberal scholars). And on and on.
