In response to Prohibition posted by paper_turtle:


I agree with you that laws on problems such as drug abuse, pornography, alcoholism, etc are only partly effective. They are band-aids. That said, sometimes, band-aids are needed.

I also agree with you that many of these problems (dare I say all of our problems) stem from the spirit or the soul. As Jesus said: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."
