How the bloody hell does Slander and Libel fit into the Liberal mindset? Is it just sorta a little thing along the way for you folks?
.
Slander and libel are hardly the exclusive provinces of Liberalism, Brother Jones. Conservatives are equally guilty. Seems to me there's plenty of blame to go around for all. But you already know this, I'm sure.

Of all those on my 'list', I liked ~old~ Billy Graham. I was shocked when I found that quote. I can only think that he said it during his early fire and brimstone judgmental days. I can't imagine the tolerant well-seasoned old Billy ever saying it.

Well, I always like to find a gentle sweet spot on the road where I can agree with you. It looks like in the instance that we are speaking about, that perhaps the liberals went a little too far.

It looks like you are sticking by the story and whatever source you got it from. I am going to note that I am so far the only writer here who has come out 100% against the idea of Rev. Graham. I suppose that puts me in the liberal camp with some folk. I do think that if I had said something similar about one of your noted renown favorites, that you would expect me to find out whether I had spoken nonsense or fact. But since now, I am sorta a Liberal of sorts, I guess I am wondering if anybody will help me stay honest.

Well, Jones, I do believe that he did say it, but he wasn't reknown for such outrageous remarks - at least not in his later tolerant years, anyway.
.
However, the other far right Christian champions on the 'list' (and others not mentioned) are indeed known for similar hate remarks and worse. And their conservative 'brothers' consistently fail to rebuke them for it. This gives them carte blanche to continue to embarrass your faith. Doesn't that burn your toast at all? Or do you also use that lame excuse that they are 'no Christians'?

There is documentation that young Billy made antisemitic remarks in conversation with Nixon. Who'd have thought he'd have done that? So, why not anti-gay remarks in an era of gay-intolerance? It IS possible that Billy wasn't perfect, ya know.

Unbelievable.

You just seem like you are tumbling at this point. End or end. I thought you had some experience in the courtroom about telling the truth and how all that works?

Keep working on it, Jonsey, maybe you can obfuscate the real issue here about how present day Christians are being so silent to the threat on American democracy that is generated by the dominionist Christians like Falwell, Robertson, Dobson, Hagee and the rest of that gang.
.
There's more than enough substantiated information available about Graham to get him hung in a Zionist state.

I'm sure there will be somebody who will come along. There are better than me in the world who can be of some help to your questions.

Migisi again provides no source for these general statements that Graham slams the Jews. And again, I am peddling the bike as fast as I can. I denounce the Rev. Graham for his statements against the Jews and Homosexuals and I qualify it to the point that Migisi has provided this insight into Graham's life. We might need to start looking at whether there might be any possibility that Graham apologized or retracted the bigotry and hatred reported by this site, by a member here.

Did we ever find out whether he said what Migisi keeps referring to? I think that might be of some help to our thread here.
