I think one of the reasons that I have been sorta lively lately is that I am getting to know my grandson a little better. I might even post some pictures this next year in my larger website if my daughter will let me. While we whittle away the time waiting for Migisi to provide some source for this outrageous comment from the Rev. Graham, I will formally comment that I don't favor castrating all those who differ from me on their sexual proclivity. I would hope that you don't either. It seems an odd thing for a Christian to say. Perhaps there are two Billy Grahams in the world and one of them being a complete idiot. All this, after I said a few posts back that all are precious in the sight of God. I would like to sorta know what Billy might have been athinkin on the day he said what Migis reported. Maybe he was terribly confused or sad or worse, depressed about something. It could be some sort of Evangelical Alseimers set in on him. i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » Migisi - Uses of great men. There are several sites that quote Graham; but, none seems to isolate the instance where he actually made the statement. . So, maybe he did and maybe he didn't. . But, the point remains that Christianists--great and small--all over the place are greatly opposed to homosexuality as a fulcrum on which they try to bend the world to suit their purposes of domination over the law. . -- posted by pink101 » Brother_Jones - Uses of great men. I think I have made my point that it wasn't really important to you or Pinky whether Billy Graham actually said it or not. You found it on the Net, so you went with it. That is what you do. i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » pink101 - Uses of great men. In response to Uses of great men. posted by Brother_Jones:. Listen up, Old Timer. . If you had any worthwhile evidence that you have been providing the rest of us with truth and that people like me that you characterize as being unable to support our claims, we would have been long gone looking for some place else to unload our false witnesses to the truth. All you have to go on is the fear you peddle and that you hope others will buy into so you can think you are right. What you are is self righteous. . But, no one here has really been hard on you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Not, yet, anyway. . -- posted by pink101 » Brother_Jones - Uses of great men. You ask me to help you come against Evangelicals who damage American society. I am going to start with your list and Migisi. I started with this statement reported by Migisi. I commented on it. I ask for some help on locating the source. I disagreed with the Rev. Graham on the subject and the statement. What else would you require of me? Friend? i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » pink101 - Uses of great men. In response to Uses of great men. posted by Brother_Jones:. What else would you require of me? Friend? . I was a little put off by the Billy Graham statement myself; but, I think the point was that it was one more thing in the litany of such items that can be brought up. Billy Graham, after all, is not Jesus Christ and he doesn't need his butt protected by anyone. He's as human as I am and with as many chinks as I have and I have tons of them. So, let's drop the "biggie" you think you have on Migisi. It's nothing. . If you want to protect men like Falwell, Kennedy, Dobson, Copeland, Haggee, and others, that's fine with me. But, if you have something against what I put out here, be specific--nail it precisely. Don't throw generalities around as though they're proof of anything--they aren't. And, please don't make assumptions about me and I'll do my best not to do the same about you. . -- posted by pink101 » Brother_Jones - Uses of great men. Yea, right. Maybe we should set some rules. How the bloody hell does Slander and Libel fit into the Liberal mindset? Is it just sorta a little thing along the way for you folks? i am just an oldtimer for the Lord. -- posted by Brother_Jones » pink101 - Uses of great men.
