I would like you to criticize my statements--challenge me--make me prove my points where you think I'm imagining things.

You imagine a Christianity that is not there, I think. Maybe part of the problem is that you don't attend any services anywhere, according to your testimony.

But, when I come back with good evidence, I would like you to recognize that as well.

I have made an attempt to agree with you on some issues. I realize that you don't really appreciate having a parrot who simply votes your way with every post.

My goal is to sound the alarm that America is in serious trouble and that it is being brought on by the intransigence of the moderate Christians who do not repudiate the fanatics like Fawlwell, Dobson, Parsley, Hagee, and Kennedy.

Then I suggest you learn how to debate without resorting to smear tactics and blacklisting. Can you think of anyone else in the history of Suite101 who has a blacklist of opponents except Migisi? The list that you and Migisi rattle off with glee everytime you try to make a point about the 'evil right wing' Christians simply adds to the confusion over the topic and demonstrates that you can't really intelligently explain your views on any of them individually.

Do you remember how much time and effort we spent on John Spong a few years back? Don't you think that each time you mention this little blacklist of yours that you in effect show how little homework you have actually done on any of them. If you were really serious about making an honest attempt to look at issues, you would stop the smear tactics of hysteria, blacklisting, and yelling 'Hitler,' everytime you get pinched a little by someone who doesn't buy your mean spirited debate tactics.

I've attended church services and meetings with as much intensity and frequency as anyone you have ever known for long periods of my life. I was as active in church life as I am here regarding the things that are held out in churches as being truth. I see through the pragmatic subterfuge preachers often lay out on their captive audiences.

Regarding the evil that over took Germany and that led to the Second World War in which many say that we are still struggling, that evil continues to make its influence felt. Specifically it is hard at work right here in the United States. Only the totally blinded fail to recognize it as it stands so uprighteously spitting its venom in their faces. It is the same way here as it was in Nazi Germany and you are denying it. Who was it came into the Garden to tempt Eve? Who is it stands in the pulpit of so many churches in America today?

Been around old fuzz bottoms like you most of my life. Every coffee shop in the country has guys that complain about the weather, religion, and Jerry Falwell. You could start a new plain of existence if you simply go to a higher sphere of thought and compile a real list of great men/women who have had some effect on your life, instead of rising early in the morning to complain of me and others.

History would take note of me if I joined the likes of you and complained of men like James Dobson who has in his books, radio, and personal appearances been a mentor for me, and has truly blessed my family.

We need to hold the show for a couple of minutes to give Migisi a chance to get to the Billy Graham quote where he would castrate some friends of ours. This is the kind of stuff that makes Net History so much fun to study. Just keep the faith, she will come forth and deliver something soon.
