Questioning authority--my parents told me, from the time I was quite young: think for yourself; do what you think is right, and don't worry about what other people will think (my dad used to say, "Follow your own way and watch, because eventually many will follow you."

Who is the enemy?

I dislike the enemy mentality. It sets up a mental framework which greatly hinders constructive action (IMHO). The enemy mentality implies we *must* assume adversarial positions. But this position means we will shout at each other rather than speaking peacefully. We will speak from anger rather than seeking understanding.

Who is the enemy?
.
Fear. The ego. The need to be right. Judgmentalism. Prejudice. All things we can change, starting with ourselves.
