When they come up with that computer chip that can be implanted so you need not deal with computers, would you get one if it were reasonably priced?
My primitive Christian upbringing prevents me from gladly accepting such a technological advance.
Hell, I don't even have a tatoo or pierced ears, and I refuse to wear reading glasses. My wife says I need a hearing aid, too, but I resist any personal mechanical aid. That's the kind of caveman I am.

Sold! I won't need a hearing aid then, right? I'm sure such a thing would also provide you with good eyesight and hearing, and eventually, eternal human life!

It seems that the media not associated with him have pinned him a neo-con because of His support of the War in Iraq and a few other things but it seems to me that it's not so cut and dry.
I don't think he stands on either side of the block... I simply think he's a businessman playing on the emotions of American people.
Imagine a large event happens, like September 11, and you simply play on the emotions that most Americans have, including the desire to go to war. the large majority of Americans supported Afghanistan and the not as large but still majority of Americans supported the entry into Iraq as well (I still support our decision to initially go to war in Iraq, BTW).
So people like Rupert simply played on our emtions. The Dollar, Yen and Euro really are what he wants it seems to me. Money equals control to a certain extent... I'm just no sure I'd classify him as evil quite yet... Just My opinion for now

.
And why did he play on our emotions? Didn't he stand to profit, hugely, from our going to war?
.
No servant can be slave to two masters; for either he will hate the first and love the second, or he will be devoted to the first and think nothing of the second. You cannot serve God and Money. (Matthew 6:24, and Luke 16:13)
.
Those who want to be rich fall into temptations and snares and many foolish harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and perdition. The love of money is the root of all evil things, and there are some who in reaching for it have wandered from the faith and spiked themselves on many thorny griefs. (1 Timothy 6:9-10)
.
I agree with Phil--Murdock is all about the money.
