Considering I don't listen to talk radio, watch the news or read the newspaper I am confused how brainwashing is possible. In fact since I last frequented this place I have not even engaged in debate of any sort. I spent the last year or 2 raising my family... Wendell can even attest to this since I rarely see him anymore either. You're no different from those people in your neighborhood who sleep until noon except for some chance of fortune. And, it appears from what you're published here in your last few posts that you think your achievements are due solely to your efforts and it seems you pride yourself in those achievements. Where did you get those ideas on which you operate? . Why don't you just go to college to earn a master's degree in business administration while you support your family with your monthly $7,500.00 endowment from your family's trust fund your grand daddy set aside for all his descendents? When you graduate with your Master's Degree, one of your family connections will get you well positioned in one of the corporations they control. And, those people who sleep until noon? Retirees who have dropped out of any productive work and spend their days playing golf and complaining and whining about everything in their life. We have a pretty large group of them here in the Austin area at Del Webb's Sun City. They really are pretty funny when they start in about their 'worthless' kids. I am not sure what you're talking about still... what achievements and fortune? They can eat cake. hahah seriously this must be a joke or something... I don't earn anywhere CLOSE to 7,500 a month.. and I've never seen a trust fund in my life. I have a friend who apparently has some college money from his grand father and he seems like he's well off but that's the closest to 'money' I've ever seen. Rest assured, what little I have I have indeed earned, and I'm thankfull that I live in a place where I am able to. I could be severely handicapped and not able to work. So I am thankful but is there some sort of confusion about who I am...??? Let me say that I do sympathize with you, and I also know that sympathy is not what you want. I am sorry that you were hurt by this man you probably loved your entire life (till then perhaps). My Mother was the wife of my Dad for 20+ years as well when he left her, me and siblings for another woman. I was 15 so I wasn't young. My Mother was only 45 at the time (it's been almost 10 years now) and it devestated everything we knew. She had no home or job because he made ALL the money. She was forced to move to KC to be near a few family members. She lived on Welfare for 3 months and worked her way into a good position over the least 10 years. She is building a 401K and doesn't have much though. I am hoping she doesn't get sick before I am able to promote into a job making alot more money because who else is going to take care of her??? I love my Mother and I HATE what my Father did! I can't be your child though, I don't know if you even have children... and I agree that there are exceptions to this welfare situation but the economy has little to do with it... PEOPLE have most to do with it. People don't need welfare because jobs aren't out there... they welfare because they were devestated... they need hope... they need help and I believ that they should get that help. In fact more help would have been available to the poor in New Orleans had not politicians abused the money!
