Like I said, he was an extraordinary human being. Maybe the thing about him that impressed me most was the fact that he refused to accept the glory that many were only too ready to give him. As it was, it got quite a bit. I think some people still wanted to hang on to the idea of monarchy. There are many today who believe a monarchy is the best way. It's sooooo biblical.
