A brief blog note on my next several articles here at Protestantism

My next several articles - obviously allowing for an occasional exception or tangent (Baptist preachers must ALWAYS leave room for tangents) - will center on the historical case for God. By that, I refer to the evidence we see in HISTORY for the existence of God - or, more to the point, for the God of the Bible.

The center-point of these articles will be Jesus Christ. There historical evidence for Jesus of Nazareth is staggering, and an examination of that evidence will ultimately reveal a choice we must make - one summed up beautifully by C.S. Lewis: He was either Lord, a liar, or a lunatic.

Saying that Jesus was a mythical figure or that a mythical legend was built up around him will not work, when examined against the facts of history. These next few articles will seek to demonstrate why.

As always, I welcome any and all comments. I hope you will read the next several articles, and take the time to comment on them. Thank you.
