The Michigan State Board of Education has dealt another blow to the growing theory of Intelligent Design.

Intelligent Design - ID for short - has enjoyed growing publicity in the scientific community in recent years, but it continues to fall short of having a place at the table. It's more like the annoying neighbor that occasionally shows up on the porch and is welcomed for a quick chat through the screen door - but never invited inside.

This is the case with Michigan, which has officially renounced ID as a topic for science class.
